POWER TO X

Our Power-to-X solutions are based on the design of industrial facilities that convert electrical energy, especially from renewable sources, into green fuels and chemicals such as hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol. This approach allows for greater integration of diverse energy sources across various sectors, promoting energy optimization.
ALAUSAT’s expertise encompasses the design of next-generation plants for the production of green hydrogen, green ammonia, and green methanol, using electrolyzer technologies and integrating them with licensed and technologically mature chemical and petrochemical processes.
Our commitment to innovation drives us to develop Power-to-X solutions that address current energy challenges.

Green Hydrogen
Using the power of renewable electricity, water is transformed into green hydrogen (2H2O + Electricity → 2H2 + O2), a clean and versatile energy carrier. Our plant designs incorporate leading electrolyzer technologies, including:
– Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM)
– Alkaline Electrolyzers
– Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cells (SOEC)
We also develop complete systems for hydrogen compression, transportation, and large-scale storage, adapting processes to the variability of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar.

Green Ammonia
Our designs for green ammonia production (3H2 + N2 → 2NH3) are based on the Haber-Bosch process, integrating advanced technologies from major licensors. We design systems for air separation (ASU), syngas compression, cooling, and effluent handling, along with solutions for cryogenic storage and self-generation, promoting efficient and sustainable production.

Green Methanol
Our designs enable the transformation of green hydrogen and captured carbon dioxide into green methanol (3H2 + CO2 → CH3OH + H2O), an important base chemical and fuel. Our processes are based on leading licensed technologies, using either isothermal or adiabatic reactors. Additionally, we design distillation and storage systems, byproduct handling, and solutions for CO2 capture and recovery, ensuring a closed and sustainable production cycle.
